Fifth Dzada Fest from June 10 to June 16
The fifth edition of the Dzada Fest will be held from June 10 to 16 in several open-air locations and in the "Radoslav Ljumović" National Library in Podgorica, and as the organizers said, it will be organized for the first time as an international festival of debuting feature films.
In the competition choice will be the films "Border of the Rain" Vlastimir Sudar and Nikola Mijovic, "Meat" by director Sasa Hajdukovic, "The Spark" by Gojko Berkuljana, "The Unfinished Age" by Ulises Leonard, "Eighth Commissioner" by Ivan Salaj, "What remains" by Jesus Serna and Lucas Parnes, and "Balkan Noir" by Drazen Kuljanin, which will be shown in the library.
In addition, the audience will be in the review program, which will be held on the streets of Podgorica. be able to see the films "7 and a half" by Miroslav Momcilovic, "The Smurfs - Lost Village" by Kelley Asbury, "Beth's journey" by Emmanuelle Bercot, "Hatred" Matthew Kassovitz, "What is a Man Without a Mustache" by Hrvoje Hribar, and festival will close Oscar-winning "Cinema Paradiso" directed by Giuseppe Tornatore.
This year, Dzada Fest will have two new segments. The first is the program "Master Of Cinema", in which all interested will be able to hear Hrvoje Hribar's lecture on the topic "Are there sufficient reasons to continue filming movies?". It will be held on June 11 from 12 PM in "Marienplatz" and will be free for all visitors.
Also, the segment "Coffee with members of the jury" is envisaged, where interested parties will have the opportunity to talk with creators in the same place where the lecture will be held. With Hribar, the audience will be able to speak on June 10, June 11 from 13:00 with Miroslav Momcilovic, and Ivan Djurovic 14th of the afternoon.
The ceremonial opening of the festival will take place on Svetozar Markovic Street on June 10th with VIS Tetra and the film "Rainbows" performance. Apart from VIS Tetra, musicians, Marija Božović Trio will be performing.
